Details:
Under moderate-high solar illumination angle i have imaged the Crisium basin and nearby features. The mare appears to be elliptical in a north-south direction, but this is due to foreshortening.The basin is relatively flat, and darker than the surrounding areas. Image made using a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm.
