Details:
The comet has brightened to magnitude 7.8 on March 27 with only a stub of a tail visible in the evening twilight at an altitude of 3 degrees. There is a magnitude 7.2 star to the lower left of the comet for comparison. March 26 the comet was magnitude 7.9 with a 2' tail at PA 100 degrees in evening twilight at an altitude of 3.1 degrees. The comet has been rather quiet, all that should change as it closes in on a very close approach to the Sun next week.
