Details:
Blue aurora seen for the first time plus a very unusual and long lasting display of quick flashes from the aurora display this morning from a remote guesthouse in Snaefellsbaer, Iceland. Flashes shot across the sky as if each cloud was giving them off. Flash rate was 2 to 5 / second. In the 13 years I have been leading Northern Lights expeditions this is the first time I have ever seen a phenomenon like this that lasted at least 1.5 hours.
