Details:
The northern lights were out for hours last night. I went out early in the evening and waited until it got dark enough — totally worth it. Later, just before 2 a.m., I drove about 1 km from home and captured this shot of my village under a sky glowing with aurora from a recent CME. Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. Lens: Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 L II USM. ISO 2000 and 3s exposure.
