Happy Equinox! On March 20, 2026 at 1:40 AM AKDT I was thrilled to watch auroras spring over the historic Old Glenn Highway Foot Bridge which spans the Matanuska River near Palmer, Alaska. The ingredient list for this “Rainbow Bridge” display was a CME impact with a dash of negative Bz and the Russell-McPherron effect. The perfect recipe and hope there’s more to come.
