Details:
The active region AR4392, photographed on March 17, 2026 from the Begues Observatory. Although it is not an especially large sunspot, it shows a very attractive structure: an intense umbra, a well-defined radial penumbra, and several pores and small condensations scattered around it. The image also reveals the granulation of the solar photosphere, visible as a fine texture across the surface.
Captured in white light with a 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain and an ASI432 camera.
