Can we obtain scientific data on Jupiter Polar Regions based on telescopic images, also using medium diameter telescope as my Mak Cassegrain 18 cm? If you use WinJupos the reply is Yes we can. Win Jupos was used measuring the images i made with the corresponding Central Meridian and the longitudes. Hence a map was generated dhowing the South and Notrh Polar region. Note the data based on longidutes derived for system 2 and system 3 of the planet. Maps as planetographic and planetocentric latitudes. Finally two further maps showing the S and N Polar regions in stereographic polar projection. In system 3 the GRS is located at longitude 350°. All this work is based only 4 images taken from Rome metropolis and a Mak Cassegrain of 18 cm and with not very stable seeing. Amazing in my opinion.
