Details:
Theophilus is a large 102 km diameter crater. Like many other complex craters, it has terraced walls, a flat floor, and a large central peak. On February 22 2026 I imaged in high resolution Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina craters. Many small craters in this region have been detected using only a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm in perfect seeing condition. Hence It is possible to have high-resolution using a moderate 18 cm telescope? I say of yes. What is your comment?
