Subject: Ground-based Observation of Active Region AR4366 - February 2, 2026 Message: Hi NASA Sun & Space Weather team, I am writing to share a clear ground-based capture of the sunspot group AR4366, taken today from Israel. I have been monitoring this region's rapid development, and my images from this afternoon captured the complex "delta" configuration of the group quite clearly, even with mobile equipment. I have cross-referenced these frames with the SDO AIA 1700 and HMI Intensitygram data to confirm the alignment. Observation Details: Date & Time: February 2, 2026, at 16:34 (GMT+2). Location: Capernaum Junction, Israel (32.89°N, 35.55°E). Target: Active Region AR4366. Equipment: Samsung S21 Ultra (SM-G998B) - 100x Digital Zoom. Note: The images capture the primary dark cores of the region, which has recently been the source of several X-class flares. I’ve attached the original photo and a side-by-side comparison with the SDO live feed from the same hour. I thought this might be a valuable addition to your citizen science database for this specific solar event. Best regards, yonatan cohen instegram @yonatan1041
