Details:
Just a taste of part of the nice show the recent flare sent us. Early right after sunset there was a good display, but then it was sporadic short bright bursts with long intervals of nothing in between. At 5am (11 UT) it sparked up big again and we had awesome tall spikes and a huge amount of brilliant blue. It was still going on when the sky got too bright to see it any more.
