Cloudy skies meant there was no chance of experiencing the visual beauty of the aurora produced by the G4 geomagnetic storm directly from my home here in the north west of England. Luckily, my magnetometer runs 24/7 no matter what the weather brings. Here's my recording of the geomagnetic effects of the storm captured on my homebrew system located in my back yard.
