Details:
I arrived just in time at the frozen Havel river in the western part of Berlin as the aurora started to expand. It was brightening fast and spread to the south quickly, even reaching into Orion behind me (I couldn't see the southern horizon unfortunately). Colors were easily visible to the naked eye. It was one of the most extreme aurora I've seen down here. I even found several quite pronounced dune auroras on my images (will do a dedicated upload).
