Details:
This double meteor event was confirmed by the local Astronomy club Sociedad de Astronomia del Caribe. It was captured on Nov 24 2025 at 10:14pm Local Time (Nov 25 2025 at 02:14 UTC). They believe this was caused by the small rock dividing into two before it entered into our atmosphere. When I first saw the footage on my monitor I thought this can't be a meteor but after zooming in I noticed that the ablation was similar to other meteors I have captured before, especially the bright flash just before the meteor disappeared.
