Details:
Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) setting over the Tortolita Mountains northwest of Tucson, Arizona on the evening of November 21. The comet still has a nice long tail but it is now hard to observe it from SaddleBrooke as the comet is now setting just as twilight ends as one can see from this gif animation of 6 images each 10 seconds long. There is a lot more atmosphere to have to look through to see the comet as it nears the horizon, thus the yellowish orange color of the comet, this results in the difficulty to see the tail, the comet coma and results in the various colors in the images due to all the various pollution in the atmosphere and of course the light pollution in the neighborhood. The comet is only about 3x fainter now (magnitude 5 in these images) than at its peak brightness (magnitude 3.5). Click on the gif animation to see the best animation.
