Details:
Beautiful aurora, especially after having seen in solar telescope, a few days ago, both flares (X2 and X1) associated to the CMEs which probably caused this. Aurora is difficult here at 45N in Europe since the N geomag pole is in the American continent: I thought we would not see this aurora because of moonlight, but when I saw the exceptional peak of Bz=-55 in the solar wind we went in rural Slovenia. The aurora began with the 0140UT G4.7 peak and went on three hours long until dawn, in camera without interruption. The red color was visible at eye for most of the time.
