8:30 pm CST, Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Looking north at aurora from strong G4 geomagnetic storm as seen from north of Marion, Iowa. 1 second exposure at f/4, ISO 2000, 24mm focal length. Nikon Z6ii camera. The event stimulated many motorists to drive out to rural areas such as this where they wouldn't ordinary be at this hour. Air temperature was in the lower 40s F.
