Details:
Tonight Nov 5 2025 per American Meteor Society is peak night for Southern Taurid Meteors that often produce bright meteors and fireballs. Taurids have been visible for many days, on Nov 4 2025 several bright ones were captured in Tucson AZ, shown. It is full Moon night that impedes meteor observations. By positioning cameras in the shadow or observing the horizon below the Moon the photography can be quite nice with the fill lighting effect of Moon light.
