Details:
Solar activity produced a disconnection event on October 31st that disrupted the tail, a day later (right) on November 1 2025, the tail is restored much as it was on October 30th. Watching the Sun's activity and its impact of the tenuous gas and dust of comet tails is fascinating because of its rapid changes and evolution. This is one of the great transient phenomena of the Solar system that is accessible with small gear. Both images captured with a Vixen 100 mm VSD astrograph, Nikon Z8 camera with 11 minutes of integration time stacked on the comet head, that produces the elongated stars.
