Details:
Orion spotted rising over the Atlantic on my overnight flight from JFK to Paris I captured this single 6 second exposure. The constellation can be seen rising and arcing over the eastern wing of the Boeing 777X. Illuminated by moonlight, the moon (located just out of frame above the image) helped bring out the details of the wing, the high cloud patterns, and satellites above.
