Details:
I was heading to bed when I saw a little spike in KP numbers, and initially was going to continue to bed, but when I could see the top of the aurora rising over the horizon from town I changed gears and rushed out to find a dark spot outside of city limits. From about 1:30am-3am there was a nice little substorm! After about an hour and a half in 30 degree weather with 30mph gusts I called it as the storm subsided. I didn’t have the endurance to wait for Comet Lemmon to come back above the horizon, but enjoyed the light show nonetheless!
