Details:
As the Russell-McPherron effect storming continues, changed venue from Hibbing,MN (earlier post) to Cedar Rapids area. Saw from reading all the “tea-leaves” that things were cooking up again. About 9:30 CDT, nothing visible, but a recheck around 10:35p revealed photographic aurora. Display seemed to last only a few minutes and by 11pm the iPhone 14ProMax was pulling in nothing from the sky but bright, first quarter Moon light. I’m certain a trip out of the city limits would have provided a richer, albeit moonlit display.
