This red filtered image show the dusty comet head, because the old FLI filter wheel was stuck in the "Red" position with the error code 203 (-19 sometimes ). I have asked FLI what the meaning of these error codes are. No answer. I don't think they know.
Time to save money for a ToupTek ATR294C or equivalent color camera.

Anyway this comet is brighter than predicted and if no disintegration, it could be a splendid photo object in the evening sky in November. Faint tail started 25. August and is obvious in the image on September 6.
