Details:
This was before the lunar occultation of Venus.
I did attempt to see and image them in the daytime, though I never saw them, unlike the day of the November 2023 lunar occultation of Venus. I could fairly easily see Venus and the moon with the naked eye that time, even around solar noon. Not this time though. I'm not sure if it was because the moon phase is significantly thinner this time and Venus was dimmer? Or if it was the clouds? Or both?
I'm not sure, but I think this might have been the most time I've spent on an astronomical observation because I was observing and attempting to observe on and off for about 10 and a half hours.
