I monitor the GOES satellite records on the spaceweather website daily and when there is a slight change in that record, I check the SID monitor record. Solar activity is gradually decreasing and so the quality of the D layer of the ionosphere, which is present during the day, is remarkably stable. This can also be seen in the SID monitor record from RUDY BASE from 11.9 when a weak CME of class C7.61 was produced
