Details:
Today the Sun joined in for an unexpected game. On its disk we could see two active regions, AR4211 and AR4213, with three sunspots perfectly aligned and evenly spaced. The arrangement was so symmetrical that it immediately brought to mind the classic game of Tic-tac-toe. I couldn’t resist drawing the grid—there they were, three O’s in a row winning the match on the brightest board of all.
