I observed multiple faint duplicate images of the Moon during the total lunar eclipse. A faint duplicate first appeared below the main disk, then another appeared above; the duplicates lasted ~1β2 minutes and faded when the Moon's bright crescent reappeared.

Description:
During the total lunar eclipse, several observers (including myself) noticed multiple images of the Moon with the naked eye, without any optical instruments.
β’ First, a faint duplicate of the Moon appeared below the main disk. Within a few seconds, it became clearer and brighter.
β’ After about 7β8 seconds, another faint Moon became visible above the main one.
β’ Multiple photos were taken, and the images did not disappear when we changed viewing positions.
β’ After 1β2 minutes, the extra images gradually faded. Once the first bright crescent of the Moon reappeared (end of totality), the duplicates were no longer visible.
This phenomenon was confirmed by several independent naked-eye observers at the same location.
