Details:
Although the ground felt reassuringly solid and firm underfoot, overhead whirred the ever-changing Cosmos and all that it contained. Within that infinite dome, centred on my back garden in Brisbane, NEO 2025 PY1 a 10 metre sized rock, (17.81 magnitude) glided by at 6.8 km/s, approaching to within 0.8 LD from planet Earth, which is around 191,000 miles (307,000kms). A close pass in anyone’s book. Celestron C11 F10 at 2800 fl, Paramount MX+. ASI2600MM 12x60 sec exposures tracking on 2025 PY1 Dennis.
