Details:
Hi Tony, a friend and I did an all night Perseid watch from N. Ireland despite the presence of a bright moon. We observed 62 Perseids, however before dawn I set up the wide angle lens for a selfie of my friend and I with the beautiful conjunction between Venus and Jupiter. We saw a bright Perseid off to one side and assumed it wasn't in the frame, it's only now that I'm home that I see we got that Perseid in the same frame as the planets, and reflecting on the still surface of Lough Fea just as morning twilight was breaking. I was well pleased.
