Details:
This caught my eye as I was looking for Perseid meteors. I watched it fade to a lit cloud of vapor to the NW. In pics I took it started in the dipper portion of The Big Dipper and moved downward towards the north, towards the ground. This is strange as normally these fall into uninhabited regions (ocean, etc), but this was headed to western PA or eastern OH.
