Details:
Venus and Jupiter were 3° apart on the morning of August 9, 2025, when this image of them in the ENE was captured with a Canon RP mirrorless digital camera and a zoom lens set to 50 mm focal length. It was 9 minutes after the start of astronomical twilight and the Full Moon was at 15° altitude in the SW. They were a splendid sight with unaided eyes.
