Details:
Pay attention to the field lines coming from this pore region. Any solar flares emitted from this will be accelerated by the field strength of the lines pointing in the direction of earth. These solar flares could be much faster than typical regions which off no magnetic polarity alignment toward earth.
Also note, as this magnetism sweeps path earth it may cause other local affects- such as volcanism and tectonic activity.
