Details:
Here we show an animation of 3I/ATLAS from July 2. It was discovered on July 1 and will pass close to Mars at the end of October. It is only the third such object since 2017. Interstellar objects have an extremely hyperbolic orbit and come from outside. Further examination of the image from July 2 taken with a 16" Astrograph shows the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS is not cometary. An image from 21.48 UT 37x60 seconds exposed. However, it cannot be ruled out that there is still a tiny coma that can only be detected by very large telescopes.
