Details:
The photo taken here dates back to 2:34 U.T., about 70 seconds after the reappearance of Merope (23 Tau), while Alcyone (η Tau) is behind the Moon. Later, Atlas (27 Tau) and Pleione (28 Tau) would also have been occulted. The image was obtained simply by placing the cell phone next to one of the eyepieces of an Ibis 18x80 binocular. Then, light processing and cropping of the central part.
