SCORPIO IN BOKEH The Scorpio constellation dominates the northern summer sky: its unmistakable figure stands out on the celestial vault already in the early evening. I was looking for a way to photograph it differently than usual, and so I used the bokeh photographic technique, placing in the foreground some flowers of Daucus carota L., a herbaceous plant typical of the Sicilian countryside in this period. Scorpio therefore appears blurred in the background, with the unmistakable colors of its stars, one above all Antares stands out, with its red-orange hue. The photo is part of my photographic project LA POETICA DEL CIELO Fujifilm X-T30 II Fujinon XF 18-55mm Tripod Cambofoto model Sab264 15s f/3.2 ISO 1250 35mm One shot Lightroom June 23, 2025 10:53pm Sicilian countryside, South Italy
