It wasn't actually good weather for observing the sun. Nevertheless, the telescope was running when a beautiful loop prominence appeared between gaps in the clouds and fully formed within a few minutes. The event lasted less than 20 minutes, after which the arc disappeared again. Two coloured images of the peak
