Details:
This type of inferior mirage, also known as an "Etruscan vase", occurs when, at dawn or dusk, the Sun's rays pass through several layers of thermal inversion, becoming distorted. ”… the deformation of the disk, modified by refraction, gradually made itself felt; it widened to the detriment of its vertical diameter, and resembled the shape of an Etruscan vase, with swollen sides, the foot of which plunged into the water”. J. Verne Nikon D7500 Nikkor lens 70-300mm 1/250s f/8 ISO 320
