Details:
The season for noctilucent clouds in the northern hemisphere is upon us once again. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these wispy, silvery-blue clouds hanging low over the north-western horizon from my observation spot in southern Poland this early into the year. I hope this foreshadows another great season despite the increased solar activity which is supposed, if I'm not mistaken, to suppress noctilucent cloud displays.
