Details:
10 s exposure on an iPhone 14. This photo was taken about a quarter past midnight. Was looking at predictions from the aurora forecast and it showed my location not even close to the visible line but decided to go outside anyway. Looking north I noticed a faint glow and knew it was an aurora. Bright lights in my neighborhood so I drove further north into the mountains to get better shots but by then the aurora had faded to a barely noticeable glow on my iPhone. Attached are the photos with the aurora at a quarter past and then at around 12:50ish.
