NOTE: in case the GIF is grainy, please click on it. Due to restrictions of size here, is shown only a low-quality 'thumbnail' of a stunning 1400 x 1060, 80 MB, MP4 video from the original 900 MB AVI! It is the result of the final processing of 2h40 of solar acquisition. It was on 2025, May 25 starting at 08:22 UT. A copy at full resolution is available at my site's front page in MP4 http://sweiller.free.fr
The ~ 160, 1 min, 8 bit, 5 GB each, SER files have been processed with Autostackkert4, Registax5, Astrosurface S2, VirtualDub, IrfanView, colorized with SolarGun and slightly denoised with Topaz Denoise AI to create this high resolution 15 FPS animation... A couple of minutes interruption is caused by the flipping of the telescope at 11:00 UT.
Observatory setup: Cosmos D=152 mm, F5.9 Fl= 900 mm achromatic refractor, Altair 160mm ERF filter, Quark chromosphere, Saturn-M SQR PlayerOne camera, JMI 2" motorized focus, Orion Atlas EQ-G (luckily no wind), Acer Helios Predator portable PC and about 10 hours of processing on a powerful desktop PC ...
