Details:
So after a longer, more than 10-day break, the solar activity is coming back to life. It started on May 13 with the eruption X1.21 on the western side of the sun and continues on May 14 with the CME from AR4087, with even more intense eruptions on the eastern side. Here is the SID monitor RUDY BASE recording. In the recording from the VLF transmitter DHO38, which transmits at a frequency of 23.4kHz, a radio signal outage is visible between 07:00 and 08:00. However, this is not caused by solar eruptions. The DHO38 transmitter has a regular maintenance shutdown at this time.
