A composite image made from photos taken on May 3, 4, 6, and 7, 2025. There is a gap in the middle because the weather was cloudy on the evening of May 5. The bright area on the right side of the image is from the evening of May 3, 2025, when the Moon, Mars, and M44 were in very close proximity, causing that region to appear more luminous.
