Honestly, I went outside to shoot some Sprites last night from a distant thunderstorm that maybe would’ve had a small. About the same time I saw there was a chance for maybe a quick viewing both from friends posting about it and getting a notification. I ended up walking away from my camera for about 30 minutes and when I came back, I noticed that there was pink pillars dancing behind the clouds, and I so happened to get some cloud to cloud lightning! This ultimately has been a bucket list photo for me, but I always expected to get it up in the northern states in the summertime! But this came from my backyard!
