Details:
The Moon and Venus rose in Friday morning's high clouds and haze over Long Island Sound. Saturn was there but hard to see in the twilight sky. Mercury didn't get above the layer of clouds near the horizon. Photo marked to show where Venus (top) and Saturn (lower right) from Moon. 2nd photo is same camera but lens zoomed to 149mm at f/7.1 for 1.6 seconds at ISO 200. Canon XS camera on tripod 55mm lens at f/4 for 2 seconds at ISO 200.
