Last night, I was lucky enough to witness the northern lights from the Baltic Sea coast of Poland. After a season of guiding aurora photography tours for Lights over Lapland in Abisko, I’m rather spoiled when it comes to auroras, but this mid-latitude display took me back to my first hunts during the previous solar cycle and brought back the same joyful feelings I had (and still have) when the lights glow.
