Deep sunrise partial solar eclipse (84.5%) viewed with my daughter Valerie from hilltop in Patten, Maine, USA. Sky nearly entirely overcast except eastern horizon; cold 17°F (-8°C). Wind turbines 17 mi (27 km) east seen silhouetted against rising eclipsed sun. Frame grabbed images from Sony DCR-SR68 camcorder, using Thousand Oaks Solar View Type A+ filter.
