Details:
Photos of the moon often bring out the best side of her character. Yesterday, I was learning how to get the camera settings correct while focusing into the eyepiece of a 12" Newtonian telescope. When I reversed the mirror image and saw the craters that make up the "moon's nose" in first quarter phase, I discovered its comical face (close up detail)!
