Details:
Just after the spaceweather alert I took a few photos of the X1.1 flare. The flare was at 15.20 UTC, and the adjacent exposure was at 16.17 UTC. Although the flare had weakened substantially, it made a very nice combo with the prominence structures at the limb! So fascinating! 90mm WO Megrez refractor, Quark Chromosphere Ha filter, ASI183MM camera. (Sun was low, mediocre seeing.)
