Details:
A pretty good photographic aurora visible from north-central Vermont last night. View shows Capella in upper left, Cassiopeia in center bottom, and Ursa Minor up top to right of center. Red auroral rays were shifting back and forth across the horizon east of Cassiopeia. Steady green auroral glow below. The light in the western part of the images below Capella is, I believe, the usual light pollution from the Montreal urban conglomeration far to my NNW. Photos taken 11:04 to 11:05 p.m. EDT with Olympus E-M10III Micro4/3 format camera with Olympus 12 mm lens at f/2.0, 5 seconds, ISO 3200. Aurora seemed to be most active from about 10:50 to 11:30 p.m.
