Details:
It's been a few months since we've seen anything this good down here at 40N. The display has lasted a couple of hours and has subsided now but a diffuse orange glow still remains at 4:06UT. The display could barely be seen with the naked eye. so it was mainly a photographic aurora. Images are from surveillance camera screen grabs or All Sky Camera with ZWO asi178mc. Time and date stamps are in the lower left of the screen grabs. The video cameras even caught a double meteor with the aurora as a backdrop as seen in this YouTube clip: https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxEM67teuJ4x48_iU_uHqPqA2TtLunt6p2
