Details:
Since days we have a very transparent atmosphere. So we went out to catch the Zodiacal Light over Kiel. And we were hoping that - maybe- due to the Russel-McPherron-Effect the Northern Lights will appear. Five minutes after we had arrived at our view-point my wife said: "Have a look to the North, the aurora is visible!". She just had finished her sentence a very intense sub-storm appeared. the green aurora-bow an colourful red beams were visible with naked eyes. The show lasted for about 30 minutes from 20:00h-20:30h UTC The Russell-McPherron-Effekt did a very good job Greetings from North-Germany Henning and Helga
